Mona Yousry

Egyptian journalist and researcher based in Tunisia. She studied political economy and has worked in in-depth journalism through several investigative and long-form projects. Her writing focuses on critical analysis and attention to local and regional contexts, with a particular emphasis on the narratives of marginalized communities and on approaching journalism through the lens of the social sciences.
Her work centers on print journalism and translation, as well as podcast production and development, and documentary filmmaking.
