khawla Chabbeh

Tunisian journalist with over 15 years of professional experience in journalism, having worked in the field since 2011. She has collaborated with several Tunisian media outlets, including Al Charaa Al Magharibi newspaper, Jadal news website, and Attounissia Net.

For ten years, she served as Coordinator of the Monitoring Unit at the Center for Professional Safety of the National Syndicate of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT), where she contributed to monitoring and documenting violations against journalists, as well as preparing reports and policy recommendations to strengthen the protection of press freedom.

For more than 12 years, she has worked as a trainer specializing in journalists’ safety, human rights violations monitoring, freedom of expression, and digital safety.

She is currently establishing Haqqha, a digital media organization dedicated to women’s economic empowerment. The initiative aims to produce high-quality content and knowledge that enable women to access information, resources, and opportunities related to economic independence and entrepreneurship.
